Your Councillors
Composition of the Council
Killinghall Parish Council consists of 10 councillors, supported in their work by the Clerk to the Council. Parish Councillors are not paid and give their time to serve their local community. Members share responsibility for all aspects of the Council’s work.
Register of Interests
The Localism Act 2011 lays out expected standards for councillors, including parish councillors. The Register of Interests is a public record of councillors’ interests that details their financial and other personal interests in their area (like jobs, property, or business ties). You can view the Government’s relevant guide for councillors here (new window opens).
A council’s Register of Interests must be available for inspection in the local area. You can view registers online on North Yorkshire Council’s website by following these links (new tabs open):
The register of interests for all of Killinghall Parish Council can be found on NYC’s website here (new tab opens).
